Orange Creamsicle Dip

Advertisements

Did you grow up with orange ice cream or orange “Julius”? The first is an orange and sweet cream popsicle and the second is a frothy, creamy orange drink. The recipe we have for you today is another iteration of this classic flavour combo and you won’t want to miss it! It’s an orange ice cream dip! With exactly the same flavour as the treats you grew up with, this dip takes just minutes to prepare and is as good with fresh fruit as it is with nil wafers. Trust us, you need this dip.

So, what do we use to make this iconic flavour, you ask? Just four simple ingredients: cream cheese, marshmallow cream, concentrated orange juice and vanilla extract! Mix it all together and give the flavors a few minutes to blend, then you’re good to go. Take the fruit that looks like it can be dipped – the green grapes were our favorite – plus a box of the above mentioned nil wafers. Fruit and cookies make great dips and we love the contrast in taste and texture they offer.

If you are looking for a tasty and easy to make recipe, this one is for you! It’s perfect for feeding a crowd (super easy to double the recipe) and really tastes amazing – you never get tired of it. Whatever the occasion, this sauce will bring back all your memories of eating ice cream and “Julius” when you were a kid – and really, isn’t that reason enough to make it? We promise you will love it!
