The Best Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

No need to worry anymore. If you follow this recipe, you will make the softest chocolate chips cookies ever.

These cookies are easily made with the best ingredients. The combination between the buttery taste of the dough and the melted chocolate chips is outstanding.

You don’t need to put these cookies in the fridge to serve them because you can present them warm too and they would taste marvelous.

 

 

 

INGREDIENTS:

8 tablespoons of melted salted butter

1/2 cup white sugar

1/4 cup packed light brown sugar

1 teaspoon of vanilla

1 egg

1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup chocolate chips

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees F.

Microwave your butter for 40 seconds until it’s melted but not too hot.

In a bowl, beat your butter with sugar until you obtain a creamy texture.

Add the vanilla and the egg and beat together until they are well-combined.

Add flour, salt, and baking soda and mix with your hand to incorporate all ingredients and form a dough.

Add your chocolate chips and mix again.

Make 12 pieces of the dough and roll them. Place them on a cookie sheet.

Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until the cookies look dry and almost golden.

Let them cool for 30 minutes and enjoy!

 

NOTES:

  • You can use a combination of chocolate chips and chocolate chunks.
  • You can freeze you chocolate chip cookie dough in a bag by rolling them into balls and putting them on a sheet pan. Before you bake the, let them defrost while they are covered.
  • You can double the ingredients to double the number of cookies.

How to store?:

You can store your cookies in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days to room temperature. They can last for a week if you put them in the refrigerator.
