Stuffing balls is an American side dish. Although they look as if they contain minced meat, they are just a mixture of herbs and some vegetables. They have an incredible savory flavor. You don’t need to worry about using a lot of oil for frying. In this recipe, you bake stuffing balls in the oven. This makes them healthier than the friend ones. Everyone loves having them.

The process of making stuffing balls is quite easy and enjoyable. You get to chop some of your ingredients and make them into balls using your hand.  In addition to this, you can make a large quantity of these balls in a short amount of time. You don’t spend much time standing up in your kitchen to make them. They are quickly prepared.

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup of finely chooped Yellow Onion

1 cup of Unsalted Butter

1 cup finely chopped Celery

½ cup of chopped Parsley

½ tbsp of Ground Sage

1 ½ tsp Dried Thyme Leaves

1 tsp Kosher Salt

1 tsp Black Pepper

6 cup of toasted and chopped Low Carb Bread

6 cup of Cornbread Stuffing

1 Large slightly beaten Egg

1 can of Chicken Broth

DIRECTIONS:

Prepare your oven by heating it to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Grease your pan with a cooking spray to avoid sticking.

Take a large skillet, melt butter on medium heat.

Add onions and saute for 10 minutes until they are translucent.

Add celery, sage, thyme, parsley, and salt and pepper according to your taste. Stir everything for 5 minutes then remove from the stove.

Take a large bowl, place the bread and cornbread stuffing and combine them together.

Add the beaten egg and ¾ of the chicken broth. Mix well by stirring.

Add what’s on the skillet to your bowl and combine.

Make smalls balls using your hand and place your stuffing balls in your pan.

Put your pan in the oven to bake for 20 minutes.

Take it out of the oven and pour the remaining chicken broth over the balls.

Return to the oven and bake them for an extra 15 minutes.
