When we hear rolls, we automatically think about cinnamon rolls. Nevertheless, we are introducing a new type of rolls in this recipe. It is fruity and I am sure that you are going to enjoy it.
They are made with a kind of 3 layers; we have the dough, the filling and the glaze. The dough is of basic taste; only vanilla. This is done on purpose so that the filling and the glaze are better tasted. The rolls are soft and smooth. They are also very light. For the filling, it has the taste of strawberry because we mix strawberries with strawberry jam. It is also very creamy thanks to the cream cheese used. In addition to this, the icing makes these rolls extraordinary and moist. Although the filling makes the rolls soft from the inside, the icing makes it moist on the outside. (Because when the rolls are baked, they become soft from the inside, but they form a kind of harsh layer once they are browned.) Therefore, our strawberry cream cheese rolls are sweet, soft, tender, fruity, creamy and moist.
These strawberry cream cheese rolls are perfect for breakfast, dessert or an afternoon snack served with your favourite beverage. Because you can leave the unbaked rolls in the fridge for 10 hours or overnight, they can be perfect for breakfast once you cook them in the morning. They will fill your house with delicious aroma and I don’t think there is a better way to start your day.
