Philly Cheese steak pasta

One of the best things that people like to have for dinner is pasta. In this recipe, we are introducing the creamiest pasta you’ll ever have. The mixture of mushrooms, onions, provolone cheese and ground beef is just extraordinary. To make it more exquisite, we add ground beef in this recipe.

 

This dish tastes as if you spent an entire day making it; however, it takes only 30 minutes to prepare. Philly Cheese steak pasta is also easily prepared.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 and ½ pounds of lean ground beef
  • 1 chopped yellow onion,
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 small can of sliced mushrooms (don’t forget to drain them)
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 1 can of French onion soup mix
  • ⅓ pound of Provolone cheese, in small cubes
  • 8  ounces of penne pasta, (cooked and drained)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire Sauce

INSTRUCTIONS:

Take a large skillet, put your ground beef and allow it to cook until it is brown.

Drain the meat from any excess fat or liquid and put it on a plate.

Melt the butter in the same skillet and add your mushrooms.

Let the mushroom cook until they are soft

Add in the green pepper and onion and stir.

Lower the heat and pour the 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire Sauce.

Add the can of French onion soup to the ingredients.

In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with a little water and add them to skillet. Mix everything.

Whisk all of the ingredients until the sauce becomes thick.

Place the cooked ground beef in the skillet.

Add in the penne pasta and combine everything.

Add in the cubes of cheese on top and place a cover over the skillet to allow it to melt.

Season with some salt and pepper if you like and enjoy!

 

Notes:

You can use any other cheese you think would go perfectly with this recipe like mozzarella, but I assure you that provolone cheese is a great choice.

 

How to store?

  • This meal would last 4 days in an airtight container in the fridge.
