Chocolate Cream Pie

Chocolate cream pie is one of the desserts that everybody love. It has the best taste ever. It is rich in chocolate. You’ll be using both chocolate chips and cocoa powder in the filling. The texture of this pie is very creamy. You can have this pie any time that you want, but it goes perfectly after a great dinner. In addition to this, you can have this pie in special occasions like small parties, family gatherings or even on holidays.


This recipe is a bit healthier because there isn’t much sugar in it and only semi-sweet chocolate chips are incorporated in the filling. This gives it a real chocolaty taste. This pie is easily made. It takes few minutes to prepare and it is best served while it’s cold. Yum!



  • 1 9″ deep dish pie crust



  • 3 cups  of heavy whipping cream
  • 1/3 cup of powdered sugar



  • 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 4 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup of cocoa powder
  • 8 ounces of softened cream cheese
  • 3 cups of prepared whipped cream (Some for the filling and the rest for the top)



Start by poking your pie crust with a fork and cooking it according to the directions provided in the package.

Take a medium bowl. Mix 3 cups of heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar using an electric mixer on high speed for about 5 minutes.

In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar using an electric mixer. Beat until these ingredients are smooth.

Microwave your chocolate chips and butter for 30 seconds. Take it out, mix it and put it back in the microwave for another 15 seconds.

Combine 3 cups of whipped cream, the melted chocolate and the cream cheese mixture using an electric mixer.

Put your chocolate filling into your pie crust and spread evenly.

Refrigerate for 4 hours.

Add the remaining whipped cream on top and spread

You can use chocolate shavings to decorate your chocolate pie.
