Most people enjoy having dark chocolate chips cookies. How about we introduce to you today white chocolate chips cookies with a twist of orange flavor. To match the flavor with the cookies, we suggest using orange food coloring. However, this step remains totally optional.
These creamsicle orange cookies are very easy to make. They make a large batch of 24 cookies. Your family and loved ones will get the chance to have more and more of them. They will definitely love them as they are very tender and sweet. These cookies are refreshing and taste amazing with juice or any beverage of your choice. Enjoy !
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 8 ounces softened cream cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon orange extract
- 1 box orange cake mix
- Optional: orange food coloring
- 1 cup of white chocolate chips
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
INSTRUCTIONS:
Start by heating the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spread parchment paper on cookie sheets.
Mix using and electric mixer: butter, orange extract, cream cheese and an egg in a large mixing bowl. Make sure that you beat these ingredients until they are smooth. Mix in the cake mix.
If desired, add an orange food coloring. This is not a necessary step.
Add the chocolate chips into the dough and combine. Place the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Make 24 balls from the dough. Dip and roll each cookie ball in powdered sugar.
Place each cookie ball on the prepared parchment paper.
Place the sheet in the preheated oven to bake the cookies for 13 minutes maximum. Let the cookies cool for 2-3 minutes then remove them from pan.

Notes:
- If you want another flavor, you can use lemon instead of orange. This can allow you to use yellow coloring instead of orange coloring and lemon cake mix instead of orange cake mix.
- If you don’t have white chocolate chips, you can make the cookies without them.
- Make sure to leave space between the cookie balls on the parchment paper.
