Bacon and Cream Cheese biscuits are an amazing morning or brunch. Your guests and your family will be amazed by these soft and flakey bacon packed biscuits. They are great snacks, too as do crab and cheese-filled crescent rolls!
Since cream cheese biscuits are tasty and filling The other meals you prepare is a breeze. Serve them with tea, coffee and juice for a simple Continental breakfast. Serve with scrambled eggs and fresh fruit salad to make an entire meal if you are looking for something more elaborate.
INGREDIENTS:
2 . Cans of crescent rolls (you can also use biscuits)
Cheese (Whatever kind you prefer)
12-ounce or 16oz packages of bacon cooked
flour for dusting (optional)
Directions
Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees. Spray the baking sheets with cooking spray that is non-stick. Lightly dust your work surface with flour.
Roll one crescent roll (or the equivalent of 1/2 can biscuits) on the work surface. Utilizing the rolling pin or your fingers join the seams and gently press and stretch to form a neat rectangle.
Layer cheese over the top.
Sprinkle bacon on top.
Unroll the remainder of the crescent rolls, then press all the seams together at the top, and around.
Using a pizza cutter or a knife (I prefer a pizza cutter personally) slice into squares.
Set the squares on a Baking Sheet to ensure that the squares touch.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the tops of the crescent rolls is lightly brown. Remove the crescent rolls from the oven and cool on an air-tight rack for 3 to 5 minutes.
Enjoy ! !
