Everyone knows that Southerners in America love to deep fry their food. Although this recipe is popular there, but it is actually originated from France. These entrees are tasty, very easy to make and inexpensive. These appetizers are rich in flavor. They take less than 30 minutes to make and with only few ingredients.
These appetizers go with any sauce that you like, but a tartar sauce go perfectly with them. The sauce adds a peculiar taste to the patties. The sour flavor of the sauce and the taste of seafood is exquisite. Also, The combination between the sauce and the crunchy patties is unique. It makes them so moist with its creaminess.
INGREDIENTS:
1 Can of drained salmon drained (or Salmon fillet)
¼ C. of finely chopped Onion
¼ C. All purpose flour
¼ C. of Cornmeal
1 Large egg
3 Tbsp. Mayonnaise
Salt
Pepper
Oil for cooking
Optional: your favourite sauce to dip them in.
METHOD:
In a large bowl, flake the salmon with a fork.
Add the rest of the ingredients and combine everything.
Form the patties.
In a frying pan, heat one an inch or so of cooking oil over medium heat on the stove.
Fry the patties on both sides until golden brown.
Serve with your favourite sauce.
