Easy-Lemon-7_Up-Cake

If I bake any type of bundt cakes, I recall the film, My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I love that film. “What do you mean he don’t eat meat?” “Oh, that’s okay, I make lamb.” There’s a scene where Toula’s mom brings her daughter an ice cream cake. Toula’s family hasn’t heard of a bundt cake prior to this. “There’s a hole in this cake.” For the time being Toula’s Mom is unable to find a way to say the word correctly. “Boont? Bonk?” She finally decides to place blooms in the middle of the cake where the hole is, and just leave it there. Therefore that ever since I’ve watched this film, I cannot avoid laughing when I get out the bundt pan to bake this 7Up Cake

Recently, I shared my recipes for Coca Cola Cake and then I realized that I could not give away the recipe for Coca Cola Cake without also sharing the 7-Up Cake. The 7-Up Cake is like the Coke Cake in that you aren’t able to taste soda as an ingredient on its own. It enhances the flavour and also makes the cake fluffy.

You could have this cake with no frosting because it’s amazing flavorful and moist however, I believe the tart icing adds a bit of sweetness to the cake a great boost of flavor. I love baking desserts like this in the cold winter days. The 7-Up cake is sunny and the flavors remind you of a glass of refreshing lemonade.
