Chicken Club Pasta Salad

INGREDIENTS:

 

  • 8 ounces corkscrew-shaped pasta
  • ¾ cup Italian-style salad dressing
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cups of chopped cooked rotisserie chicken
  • 12 slices of crumbled crispy cooked bacon
  • 1 cup of cubed Muenster cheese
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 8 ounces of halved cherry tomatoes
  • 1 avocado (peeled pitted, and chopped)

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a pot, boil some water with salt and cook the pasta while stirring from time to time to avoid sticking. It should cook for a maximum of 12 minutes. Drain your pasta and rinse it with cold water.
  2. In a large bowl, Whisk the Italian dressing with mayonnaise. Add in the pasta, bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, chicken, bacon, Muenster cheese, celery, and avocado. Stir everything until all ingredients are well covered with the dressing.
  3. Serve and Yum!

Notes:

If you don’t feel like having the salad right away, you can prepare the ingredient beforehand and keep them separately until you want to serve then combine.

You can cook your chicken before and season it the way you want. Or you can easily buy your rotisserie chicken from your grocery store and cut it as instructed above.

You can store the salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator for few days only.
