INGREDIENTS:

  • 7 slices of bacon , cut them into small dices,
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tube refrigerated Pillsbury Grands biscuits
  • 3 beaten large eggs,
  • 1/3 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
  • 2 finely diced scallions,

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Place a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Put bacon in the skillet cook it until it is crispy while stirring occasionally. This would take about 5 minutes.
  3. Drain any excess fat using a paper towel.
  4. Prepare the oven by heating it to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. Grease a nonstick Bundt pan by putting butter and adding a coat of cooking spray and allow the butter to melt in the preheating oven.
  6. In the meantime, cut the biscuits into quarters.
  7. Toss them in a bowl with cooked bacon, eggs, jack cheese, cheddar cheese and scallions.
  8. Once the butter melts, swirl the Bundt pan to cover the bottom.
  9. Add the biscuit mixture to the Bundt pan.
  10. Sprinkle some cheese and bacon on top.
  11. Bake it in the oven for 25 to 27 minutes until it is golden.
  12. To loosen the edges of the pan, run a knife around them.
  13. Serve on a dish and enjoy!

 

Notes:

  • You can use a tube pan instead of a Bundt pan.
  • We have never prepared this with regular biscuits, but it is for sure that Pillsbury Grands works perfectly in this recipe.
  • Other Variations:
    • You can use ham instead of bacon.
    • To have a slightly creamier texture, add in some few tablespoons of milk or half-n-half.
    • Instead of the cheeses used, you can use Pepper Jack.
