I enjoy this recipe! I’ve enjoyed this cake throughout my childhood, as my mother cooked it. It’s so delicious and moist, you can always make it a success. Make sure you impress your guests.
Excellent! Recipe from my mother, but I lost it. We did call for Miracle Whip, however. (salad dressing was what I made). I am so happy to have discovered this. Like fifty years ago. Thanks!
It’s hard to believe you’ve never had a great chocolaty cake until you’ve tried this recipe for mayonnaise cake. Simple ingredients and easy to follow directions make this recipe a regular in my cookbook on desserts. Do not fret if you’re an avid fan of mayonnaise, ….you will not even have to try it!
The most appealing aspect of it is its consistency mayonnaise gives into the dessert. There is no one who wants the cake dry! Mayonnaise is fantastic because it keeps the cake soft and moist. It’s an ingredient that can help make the chocolate cake even more delicious!
Making a cake from scratch is simpler than you think, all it takes is a few of ingredients from the pantry and we can create something amazing. The frosting you buy at the store can make the whole process easier, but if we’re in the mood to make our own homemade frosting from scratch.
