Turkish bread: the tastiest and easiest bread you can make! Soft and fluffy!
Ingredients:
1 tsp yeast, dry
1 tsp sugar
350 ml water
450 g flour
1 tsp salt
Preparation:
Mix the yeast, sugar and warm water together in a bowl and leave to rise for 5 minutes.Stir in the salt and half the flour until a homogeneous mixture is formed.Gradually add the rest of the flour.Knead into a very soft and slightly sticky dough.
Cover with a towel and leave to rise in a warm place for 40-60 minutes.
As soon as the dough has doubled in size, knead it again and divide into 6-8 equal portions.
Roll out each piece of dough into a 3 to 4 mm thick round flatbread.
Then cover again with the towel and leave to rest for 10-15 minutes.
Preheat a non-stick frying pan.
Fry the flatbreads for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.Serve the bazlama warm with various dishes.
