You just combine the flour with salt, yeast and honey. You gather these ingredients with water and you leave it to rise overnight. The next day, you sautee the jalapenos, knead it in with the cheese and spread it on your skillet to bake in the oven. That’s all! In this recipe, we filled and garnished the focaccia with Jalapeno and cheddar; however, you are free to add whatever you think will go greatly with it.
Jalapeno cheddar Focaccia is light, soft, chewy and fluffy. It almost dissolves in your mouth. Due to the ingredients used, this focaccia is cheesy and spicy. If you do not like it spicy, you are free to remove the Jalapenos or substitute them with black olives if you like. This scrumptious focaccia is prepared in 10 minutes only. It needs 35 minutes to cook and 18 hours to rise. It requires a little bit of patience, but it is definitely worth the wait.
