This fake chicken recipe is extraordinary. It is believed that it was originated during the Great Depression; back when chicken was rare and very expensive. That’s why it is used with any meat that you like, preferably pork or veal. They are cubed into 1.5 inch pieces and placed in halved skewers. They are seasoned with salt and pepper. Then, they are dipped in flour, eggs and breadcrumbs. They are first fried. Then, we proceed with cooking them in the oven. These meat skewers are quite tasty. You can use either normal salt or seasoned one. It depends on your preference. In addition to this, their texture is crunchy and tender at the same time. They are also quite appealing to the eye thanks to the golden brown color obtained from the cooking. This makes people love them even more.
