What’s Cajun Seasoning?
Cajun seasoning can be described as a mix of spices and herbs that originated in southern America However, it is mostly Louisiana. It usually includes paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, peppers, oregano, and Thyme. The level of heat also varies between blends.
How to Cook Salmon in the Oven
Heat oven and then dry the salmon. Use a cloth that is free of lint to accomplish this.
Include a drizzle of olive oil on the salmon and then season in accordance with the recipe you’re creating. Season generously.
Next, put your salmon skin-side down in an oven-safe skillet or pan, and then transfer it to the oven that is preheated. Make sure your salmon is at the temperature of room (not frozen or cold) prior to placing it into the oven. This helps to cook the fish evenly.
The cooking time will depend on the thickness of the salmon. It can be measured by the most thick portion of the fillet that takes the longest amount of time to cook. When the salmon is cooked it will flake easily which can be easily done by using the help of a fork. It’s also possible to tell when it’s done when an internal temperature of 145 degF is achieved.

Start by preheating your oven. Then, pat dry the salmon fillets. After that, drizzle with oil olive oil, and then sprinkle liberally with the Cajun spice mix. If the salmon is chilled let it sit at room temperature for at least 15 minutes in order to remove the chill.
