  • 1 (18.5 ounces) box Devil’s Food cake mix
  • 3/4 cup of melted butter,

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Start by heating the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Grease your 9×13- inch baking pan lightly.
  3. Spread evenly the cherry pie filling into the greased pan.
  4. Add the unbaked cake mix over the filling. Sprinkle it evenly.
  5. Pour the melted butter all over the cake mix.
  6. Add some chocolate chips if you are using them.
  7. Bake the cake for 1 hour.
  8. Take the cake out of the oven and spoon it while it is warm into small bowls or serving dishes.
  9. Top with vanilla ice cream and enjoy!

 

Notes:

  • If you have dry spots in your cake, do not worry. Everything will be moist when you spoon the cake and top it with ice cream.
  • You can add pecans instead of chocolate chips or you can even use them both. The cake taste magnificient.
