Ingredients for Snickers Fudge:

To make your own Snickers Fudge, gather these ingredients:

  • 2 cups of milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup of creamy peanut butter, divided
  • 1 can (14 ounces) of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of caramel sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup of dry roasted peanuts, roughly chopped
  • (Optional) 1 cup of white chocolate chips

Instructions:

Follow these simple steps to create your own batch of Snickers Fudge:

  1. Bottom Chocolate Layer: Begin by lining an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving some overhang for easy removal later. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the milk chocolate chips with ½ cup of the peanut butter. Melt in the microwave, stirring after each 30-second interval until smooth. Once melted, spread half of this mixture at the bottom of the prepared dish and refrigerate for a short while to set.
  2. Middle Layer: In another bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk with the remaining ½ cup of peanut butter. If you’re looking for a lighter color, consider melting in some white chocolate chips. Once combined, spread this mixture on top of the bottom chocolate layer in the dish.
  3. Caramel & Peanut Layer: Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the middle layer, then sprinkle half of the chopped peanuts on top.
  4. Top Chocolate Layer: Spread the remaining chocolate and peanut butter mixture (from step 1) over the caramel and peanuts.
  5. Final Touch: Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle with the remaining peanuts. Gently press the peanuts into the fudge.
  6. Chill: Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2-3 hours or until firm and set.
  7. Serve: Once set, use the parchment paper or foil to lift the fudge out of the dish. Cut into squares or rectangles and enjoy!

Tips:

  • For the middle layer, the addition of white chocolate chips can give a paler color and a different taste twist.
  • Store the Snickers Fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

  1. I am trying to understand this recipe as written in connection to the photo. If you mix the first 4 ingredients together you won’t end up with this light colored center there is nothing for the chocolate top and bottom layer. Unfortunately the way the photo is of the recipe is what I was looking to do.

    • Hello KH,

Thank you for taking the time to review the Snickers Fudge recipe and for pointing out the discrepancy between the photo and the recipe instructions. I apologize for any confusion.

You’re absolutely right; following the current instructions would result in a uniform mixture without distinct layers. I appreciate your keen observation. To achieve a layered appearance like the one in the photo, we’d need to separate the chocolate and peanut butter mixture from the sweetened condensed milk to create distinct layers.

I will revisit the recipe and make the necessary modifications to ensure that it aligns with the accompanying photo. In the meantime, if you’re looking to achieve the layered appearance, I suggest:

Prepare the chocolate and peanut butter mixture separately first for the bottom layer.
For the lighter center, mix the sweetened condensed milk with a bit of peanut butter (and possibly some white chocolate for a lighter color).
Use the remaining chocolate and peanut butter mixture for the top layer.
Again, I apologize for the oversight and truly value your feedback. It helps ensure the quality and clarity of our recipes. Please let me know if you have any other questions or if there’s anything else I can assist with.

      Warm regards,
