Sugar free Strawberry Cheesecake

No one can deny that the creamiest cake you can ever make is cheesecake. One of the best things about this cake is that you can make it according to your favourite taste; either with chocolate, Oreos, lemon, or some kind of fruit. In this recipe, we are going to learn how to make a strawberry cheesecake.

 

Our special dessert is sugar free and does not require the oven to bake it. In a matter of fact, it does not need to be baked at all. It is very easy to make with few ingredients and few simple instructions. (Make sure to follow them below). Our cheesecake is prepared in 15 minutes only but it requires 2 hours at least in the fridge. Do not think that this dessert is small. Quite the contrary, it actually serves 12 pieces. So, you can definitely have it with your family, friends or/ and loved ones.

The texture of the cake is exquisite. There is a great balance between the crunchy graham cracker crumbs and the creamy pudding mix. In addition to this, the taste of this strawberry cheesecake is indescribable. To say the least is that it is soft, creamy and so delicious. This dessert is quite healthy thanks to the absence of sugar. Nevertheless, do not worry. It is not bland at all. We replaced sugar with a mix between nutmeg and cinnamon. This makes the cheesecake very tasteful and delicious. You will not even feel the absence of sugar.

Each piece of strawberry cheesecake contains 124 Kcal in calories, 12 g in the total fat; 6g in the saturated one and 6 g in the TRANS fat. It also carries 242 mg of sodium, 136 g of carbohydrates, 8g of sugar and 12 g of protein. As you can notice, that each piece of this marvelous dessert has many nutritious benefits.

 

 

 

INGREDIENTS:

 

  • ¾ cup of crushed graham cracker crumbs,
  • 3 tbsps of unsalted and melted butter,
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 and ½ cup of milk
  • 8 ounces of softened cream cheese,
  • 1 small package of sugar free instant Cheesecake pudding mix
  • 2 pints of sliced Strawberries,

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

    1. Grease your 8/ 9 inch pie plate with butter.
    2. Mix well the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, nutmeg and cinnamon in a medium bowl.
    3. Put this mixture in the bottom of the buttered plate and press it down while making short sides up.
    4. Put this pressed base in the fridge.
    5. In the meantime, take another medium mixing bowl and beat the cream cheese until it becomes soft and fluffy.
    6. Pour in the milk and beat it with the cream cheese using an electric mixer.
    7. Combine the cheesecake pudding mix with the beaten ingredients. Mix everything well.
    8. Spread evenly half of this mix on the prepared chilled pie crust.
    9. Place a layer of sliced strawberries.
    10. Add the remaining of the pudding mixture, spread it evenly on the strawberries.
    11. Place another layer of sliced strawberries.
    12. Put your cheesecake in the fridge to chill for an hour or two at least.
    13. Your strawberry cheesecake is ready to be served.

Notes:

  • The combination between nutmeg and cinnamon replaces the taste of sugar in this cheesecake.
  • You can definitely use low fat cream cheese instead of the regular one.

 

How to serve?

Cut the cheesecake into 12 pieces and serve them with your favourite beverage. It is quite refreshing.

 

 

How to store?

I am certain that you will not have any leftovers to freeze or chill. However, If there is a piece left, store it in the fridge in an airtight container. Make sure to have it as soon as possible so as not to have a soggy crumb base.
