However, sometimes, you desire to eat your meal in its most classic form and then ta-da! There’s this classic mac n ‘ cheese, which I have to admit, is the best I’ve made.

Ingredients

2 cups of elbow macaroni

4 tablespoons butter

2 Tablespoons of all-purpose flour

2 cups milk

1/4 onion, minced

Salt , pepper and as desired

1 pound processed cheese food

14 pound of cheddar cheese chopped

1/4 1 pound Swiss cheese with shredded

 

 

Directions

Step 1: Make the elbow macaroni as per the directions on the packaging.

Step 2. While the macaroni is cooking, heat the butter and melt it in the small pot on medium temperature. Then, slowly add in the flour. stir until a creamy colored paste is formed. Then, pour in the milk , and continue to stir until it is thick. Then, stir for another minute. Then, take the mix off the heat and place it in a bowl to cool.

3. Spread a 1/2 portion of cooked macaroni in the middle of a greased baking dish. then add half of the onion grated and half of the salt and pepper, and 1/2 of the cheddar and Swiss cheese in each. Layer a second layer of macaroni on top, then put on the onion along with salt and pepper as well as cheeses in the same manner, and then sprinkle the flour mixture over it. Sprinkle a few crumbs of butter.

Fourth step: cover the dish and bake in a 350 degree preheated oven for about 45 minutes. Then, serve. Enjoy! !
